We are Bill & Dawn Crites and we are located in Blythewood, SC.  We have been owned by our beloved Boykin Spaniels since 1991.  We have 3 little girls, Piper, Story & Ever,  1 little boy, Hal and 1 female English Setter, Maizey.  Story, Ever & Hal are all Piper Anne's "babies".   All of our "kids" are inside dogs, are hunted and participate in field trials and hunt tests.   Bill has served on the BOD of Midlands HRC, the Boykin Spaniel Society and the Boykin Spaniel Foundation.  He has also chaired the BSS Retriever & Upland National Championships since 2004.   Dawn has served as secretary of the Carolina Boykin Spaniel Retriever Club for the past 8 years and serves as hospitality & auction coordinator for both BSS National events.  Bill and Dawn both help with the CBSRC’s HRC hunt test in May each year.  Bill has served as judge and chairman of HRC events and and Dawn serves as HRC secretary/treasurer.     We are both dedicated to the Boykin Spaniel breed, to The Boykin Spaniel Society, The Boykin Spaniel Foundation, The Carolina Boykin Spaniel Retriever Club, Midsouth Boykin Spaniel Retriever Club and The Dang Yankee Boykin Spaniel Retreiver Club and all they do to better our Boykin Spaniel breed.   Our boykins excel at upland hunting,  it is what they were bred to do and they love it.  They also enjoy dove and duck hunting.  We have traveled throughout the Southeast and the Midwest so Bill and the girls can hunt.  The only shooting Dawn does, is with a camera.
